This beautiful creature is up to something. We just can't put our fingers on what. Perhaps he is simply staking his claim, grasping at all he can perceive, at everything within his domain in an attempt to fortify himself against his inevitable decline. Perhaps he is engaged in a personal, yet universal struggle with his mortal realities. Whatever the case, we find we are with him and not against him, and although our intellectual understanding is clouded, our intuitive understanding of his plight is clear and present.
